Merkle MIG/MAG welding equipment

Merkle TIG/WIG welding equipment

TIG/WIG (Tungsten Inert Gas/Wolfram Inert Gas) welding originates from the USA and is considered a time-consuming but precise welding process with high quality.

TIG/WIG welding is particularly suitable for apparatus engineering, mechanical engineering and pipeline construction. Not only aluminium and aluminium alloys, but also low and high-alloy steel (such as chrome and/or nickel steel) as well as copper and copper alloys can be welded very well.

Merkle Pulse-arc

Pulsed arc welding creates a permanent connection via one or more short electronically initiated energy pulses to the components to be joined.

Pulsating direct currents are set in the power source, the pulses of which are very short (approx. 1.0 to 2.5 ms).
